About these terms

These terms and conditions govern your use of Legacy Vault Kit, operated by PassItOn-Digital (trading as The Legacy Footprint Lady). By creating an account and using the service, you agree to these terms.

Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

Legacy Vault Kit is a digital organiser that allows you to store personal, financial, legal, health, and memory information in a secure online vault. It is designed to help you organise your life information so that your family knows what to do and where to look when it matters most.

Legacy Vault Kit is a personal organisation tool. It is not a legal service, financial advice service, or medical service. The information you store is your own. We do not provide legal, financial, or medical advice.

Your account

You must be 18 years or older to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account.

You must provide accurate information when registering. You may only create one account per person.

Subscription and payment

Legacy Vault Kit is available on an annual subscription basis at £29.99 per year (or the price shown at the time of purchase). Prices may change with reasonable notice.

Subscriptions renew automatically each year. You will receive a reminder email before renewal. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied within 30 days of your initial purchase, contact us for a full refund.

Your content

You own all the content you store in your vault. We do not claim any rights over it.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you store. You must not store content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes the rights of others.

We do not read your vault content. It is stored encrypted and accessed only by you and the trusted persons you designate.

Trusted persons

You may nominate trusted persons to access your vault. By doing so, you confirm that you have the right to share that information with them and that they have consented to receiving it.

Trusted persons can view the sections you grant them access to. They cannot edit or delete your content. You can revoke their access at any time.

Availability and data

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We will give reasonable notice of planned maintenance.

We back up your data regularly. However, you are encouraged to use the PDF export feature to keep your own copies of important information.

If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 90 days. After that, it is permanently deleted. We will remind you before deletion occurs.

Limitation of liability

Legacy Vault Kit is provided as a personal organisation tool. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on information stored in your vault, or for any loss arising from your use of the service.

Our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
